A working claw machine: a two-axis gantry, a telescoping shaft and three hinged jaws — with a demo you can lose.

What it is

A prize grabber with a lit marquee, a coin door and a chute. The arm travels, the claw drops and the jaws close, so it can be played rather than just stood next to. For an arcade, a diner, a station or a pier.
