Bird

A gull: two-panel wings that flap, glide and fold, and a bank that leans into the turn rather than out of it.

Interactive demo, running in a sandbox. Drag inside it to look around.

What it is

A gull with wings that beat, spread and fold. It leans into its turns the way a real bird does, so it reads right circling overhead. For a coastline, a harbour, or any sky that needs something moving in it.

It has 2,288 triangles and 10 named parts, including: body, head, beak, tail, wingInner_L, wingOuter_L, leg_L, wingInner_R.
Named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or hide them individually.

Load it at runtime — do not rebuild the geometry on the page:
  npx modelkit vendor . # from antics-modelkit, puts glbload.js + three next to your page
  import { loadGLB } from "./glbload.js";
  const parts = await loadGLB("./model.glb");   // [{ name, geometry, material }]
  for (const p of parts) scene.add(new THREE.Mesh(p.geometry, p.material));

To change its proportions instead of using it as-is, download the recipe, run
`npm i antics-modelkit three`, edit the arguments and `npx modelkit build`.

Published with its recipe by its author, who states it is original work. We host both files; we have not re-run the recipe ourselves.
